Services and Specialities

I consider myself a rogue humanistic (also known as client-centered) therapist. I emphasize empathy, non-judgment, and self-actualization through a holistic lens. I utilize a lot of narrative language that helps us explore your identity, influences, and sense of meaning through social co-construction of your life story. As a relational therapist, my work is also grounded in attachment and psychodynamic theory, meaning we will explore your history—of traumatic experiences (Big T and little t), of connection, and of your fundamental sensitivities—and how it shows up in your present life and within the dynamic microcosm of our therapeutic relationship.

  • Affirming, empowering support for those who have been searching for their own reflection or stumbling around in the dark shadows of shame.

Whether you’re deeply feeling (HSP/Empath), neurodivergent, exploring identity, or have just never felt quite at home in yourself, we’ll unravel the intricate network of parts that make you, you, and foster connection to your authentic Self.

  • For partners seeking to break free of the cycles that are keeping problems in place. Learn new ways of communicating, foster connection based on your attachment needs, unite against challenges, and honor how brave it is to share your life with another person. My approach is emotion-focused, collaborative, and trauma-informed. No one gives us an instruction manual for intimacy, and it’s rarely been modeled well for us. Couples therapy is where we get to write those rules together using the shared language of your relationship.

  • Holistic psychotherapy for those navigating premenstrual disorders (PMDD/PME), postpartum, fertility challenges, and perimenopause… because your hormones don’t care if you have shit to do today.

We’ll learn the unique ways your mental health, sense of Self, and relationships are impacted by your body’s cycles; examine the parts of you that evolved to keep you safe; and explore ways to navigate a society that wasn’t built with consideration for women’s issues or the AFAB body.

I often invite clients to include partners or family members in this work as appropriate.

  • Trauma is not what happens to us, it’s what happens inside of us, and it shapes the beliefs we have about ourselves and how we experience the world. I utilize a compassion-heavy, strengths-based approach to celebrate your resilience and help create space for more adaptive beliefs and coping strategies.

I believe our strength is in our softness, and the vulnerable pathways that once led to our deepest suffering are also the roads that can lead to profound growth.

I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapy that can help release the charge of traumatic wounds in the nervous system and install positive beliefs about ourselves and our experiences. My EMDR work is highly individualized and attuned to your specific needs—no one-size-fits-all approach here.
